WE ARE GENEROUSLY SUPPORTED BY:

Our Title Sponsor:

Rebel Goose Books is an independent publishing house located on Vancouver Island, Canada. They publish beautiful books that inspire young minds to dream boldly and question freely. Their mission is to champion stories requiring courage to tell, stories reflecting the vibrant, complex world children and teens live in today—where challenges are met with resilience, differences are celebrated, and every experience offers a chance to grow.

Feature Sponsors and Partners:

Children’s Art gallery
and Storybook Museum.

So much more than a gallery this year, we’ve created a whimsical experience for people of all ages. Upon stepping through the doors, visitors will enter a storybook world. Each room is a difference scene (“page in a book”) and invites guests to explore, immerse, and interact with the tale in new ways. The theme of the story will weave directly into the children’s art work, amplifying their “Imaginary Worlds”.

  • We do not have a parking lot so we recommend street parking nearby on Alberni or Robson street. You may also want to consider taking alternative forms of transportation!

  • Due to the Heritage/ Character home nature of our venue this year, we are limited in our ability to accommodate certain mobility or accessibility needs.

    Things to be aware of:

    • There is a flight of stairs going up to the front of the house. From there, the gallery will be on the main floor.

    • The room activations will be up further flights of stairs (two flights in total).

    • Interior stairwells are narrow, please exercise caution!

  • Yes absolutely! Email hi@neets.art to get started.

  • The expectation is that the gallery is a space to visit for the whole family. Unfortunately, we do not have capacity to provide childcare so please do not leave your children unattended!

  • Workshop tickets include admission to Tombolo House for one child and one guardian/ adult to accompany them. If you have multiple adults attending, we request that they purchase their own admission for that day.

  • Your admission fee will help cover some of the costs of production. (We are volunteers and very much a scrappy team!) Proceeds from the event will also be donated to Friends of the VPL.
