Hi! We’re Ryleah and Anita!

Anita— aka Neets— is an artist, illustrator, and designer. While she’s always been a doodling type (her grade school diaries can attest to this); she didn’t take her artwork seriously until her 2 year old niece convinced her that her drawings were actually half decent. Nowadays, alongside helping small businesses with their brands, she creates artwork that is playful and warm– for the young, and young at heart. Her hope is that through her work, folks are left feeling delighted, and perhaps a little less alone.

Ryleah is an experiential designer and brand activator with a passion for bringing your BIG ideas to life. As an extension of your brand marketing team, she’s into taking creative risks, embracing colour, and encouraging you to be take up space.

Together, we created Tombolo as a chance to remind everyone of possibility and playfulness in life. We hope you enjoy!

What is a Tombolo?

The name "Tombolo" (tuhm-BO-low), asides from being fun to say, is a word used to describe a strip of land that connects two larger areas of land (one which is often an island).

To get a little philosophical, we love this name because we believe that adults live in one world, and children exist in another-- a world that is often unreachable by grown-ups once we've passed "through" into adulthood. The hope is that this gallery can bridge the space between the two. ✨
