TOMBOLO IS A POP-UP CHILDREN’S ART GALLERY FOR THE YOUNG AND YOUNG AT HEART

We offer a platform for children to see their art on a big stage and to know that their perspective and voices matter.

The gallery is a whimsical escape for children and their
grown-ups; reminding people of all ages to tap into playfulness and curiosity.

While it is free to submit artwork, registration is required so that we can accommodate and plan for all artists.

✨ The theme for this year is Imaginary Worlds. ✨

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Imaginary Worlds! We want to celebrate your child's wild and wonderful imagination! Do they want to illustrate a mythical animal? Draw themselves with some imaginary friends? Or dream up a kingdom in space?  The sky (and beyond) is the limit!

  • Nope! We are happy to receive submissions from all around the world. (Please note that as we are volunteer run, we cannot assist with paying for shipping.)

  • Once you are ready to submit, you can email hi@neets.art to arrange for shipping or drop-off.

Be sure to register first so we know to expect the art/ make sure we leave space for it!

  • All artwork must be received by September 1st.

  • We recommend nothing larger than 11” x 17” (smaller is OK). However, if your child would like to create something 3D/ sculptural or larger- we are so game! Just send us an email at hi@neets.art so we know to leave appropriate space in the gallery.

  • We recommend ages 3-10

  • September 12th- 21st. Save the date!

  • After the event, we will ask all participants if they would like their artwork back. If so, we will arrange time for shipping or pick-up in mid October.

2024 was OUR
INAUGURAL
YEAR

Small but mighty, we took over 600 sq ft with 100+ pieces of artwork from children aged 3-10. What resulted was one fun-filled weekend of art-making, art-admiring, workshops, and more!

our vision for 2025:
SEPTEMBER 12-21

We have secured a larger space for 2025 and are doubling down on interactivity!

Located in a West End heritage home, Tombolo House will be a multi-room destination for imagination and whimsy. Upon entering, visitors will weave through a storybook world with plenty of surprise and delights to accompany the children’s artwork.

Held over multiple weekends, we aim to be open for school and community groups during the week.
